Pastor Kris and Darleen Newman graduated from Zion Bible College and married on June 23, 1969.  They have been in ministry since that time in various capacities.  After serving on the faculty and staff of Zion Bible College in Barrington, Rhode Island for twenty years, they accepted a position at Lancaster First Assembly 1992, serving first as Assistant Pastor and then as Senior Pastor in 1996.  Pastor Kris and Darleen have one daughter, Kristal – married to Shawn – and two grandsons, Kyle and Kory.  “We are a ‘missions minded’ family and all have ministered at one time or another in Kenya, Tanzania, St. Lucia and India.  The Lord is coming back soon and there are still many around the world who need Jesus!  May we hear the Lord say ‘Well done, good and faithful servant."
Pastor Mark is committed to caring and connecting with God’s people. His ministry ranges from young adults, to our    senior members. After his fulltime job a s a baker he follows the call of God in ministry here at L.F.A. Pastor Mark’s heart is   teaching God’s word. Currently he is working toward licensing with the Assemblies of God.

Rev. Aaron and Julie Springer, new to the staff of Lancaster First Assembly of God, 1025 Columbia Avenue, Lancaster, PA., are now serving as Youth Pastors to Xtreme Youth.  Aaron, born and raised in Peoria, Illinois, graduated from North Central Bible College in Minneapolis, MN with a major in Pastoral Ministries and minor in Counseling.  He received his credentials from the Minnesota District of the Assemblies of God.  Julie, coming home to her Pennsylvania roots, also attended North Central Bible College with a Music Major and pursued a career in Hotel Management with Marriott Hotel in Minneapolis.  Aaron and Julie were married on August 12, 2006 in Newburn, North Carolina and they are now the proud parents of a baby girl, Elizabeth Kay, born in December, 2008.  We are grateful for this godly couple who will lead the youth of the church to Christ in the days ahead.
